Jet Engine Transporter

Our client within the aerospace industry came to us looking for a universal transporter suitable for any jet engine. We were happy to help, designing and manufacturing a transporter that was capable of transporting a fully assembled jet engine from the assembly halls through to the testbeds.

Thanks to the latest precision engineering techniques, the team at Nelson Tool Co were able to design a vehicle that incorporated autonomous driving, enabling the fixture to safely drive around the site and position the engines accurately in the testbeds. This allowed for minimal intervention for loading and unloading of each engine, increasing productivity in the long run.
