About Leading Edge
Leading Edge Engineering Design Ltd are providers of design and technical documentation for all business sectors such as aerospace, nuclear, energy and agriculture. As specialists in the design of tooling solutions, jig fixtures, testing equipment, ground support, and lifting equipment, we can provide design services for all or part of the design process, from specifications through to detailed manufacturing drawings, including FEA. Working closely with Manufax and Nelson Tool Co, we can ensure product design, development, and implementation work hand-in-hand, offering a full turn-key service that is produced on time and to budget.
Design and development from start to finish
Our range of design services includes conceptual design, 3D modelling, CE marking documentation, consultancy, and modification, in addition to stress analysis, testing and risk assessments before final product implementation.

We understand how strict the standards of certain industries are in order to comply with health and safety regulations. As a Group we are approved to both ASEN9100 and ISO9001:2000 standards to ensure our designs meet all necessary specifications across every industry.
The latest design technology
Depending on the requirements of each project, we make use of a selection of software such as Siemens NX, Catia V5 and AutoCAD. MatCAD, Ansys and Nastran(NX) are also available for stress work. Thanks to the latest software and experience we can create the most effective designs to help reduce lead times and increase efficiency.
